剪纸介绍（Introduction of Paper-Cutting）

剪纸艺术是一种剪、刻的镂空的艺术。

种类大致分为将图案以立体刻出来的“阳刻”以及将图案以凹状刻出的“阴刻”。

起源于人类对大自然的敬畏和顶礼膜拜。

用形象、谐音、寓意、象征等方式呈现祥瑞的艺术。

接着从部落开始记录喜庆节日，然后传承就是把原有的纹路继续套用在新的艺术上。

从朝代来看，其实起源于西周，当时剪的是叶子，可参考《桐叶封弟》。

然后汉唐用于装饰，唐代用于巫术，唐宋有了纸和刻印技术，明清则是成熟期。

制作剪纸的主要工具简单，只需纸和剪刀而已，不过建议购买刻刀与刻板，这样处理细节部分才会更简单。

 

The art of paper-cutting is the art of cutting and engraving.

The types are roughly divided into "positive engraving" in which the pattern is carved out in three dimensions and "inscribed engraving" in which the pattern is engraved in a concave shape.

Originated from human beings’ awe and worship of nature.

The auspicious art is presented in image, homophonic, allegorical, symbolic and other ways.

Then, starting from the tribe, the festival was recorded, and then the inheritance is to continue to apply the original pattern to the new art.

Judging from the dynasty, it actually originated in the Western Zhou Dynasty. At that time, the leaves were cut. You can refer to "Tong Seal".

Then it was used for decoration in the Han and Tang dynasties, witchcraft in the Tang dynasty, paper and engraving techniques were available in the Tang and Song dynasties, and the Ming and Qing dynasties were mature.

The main tools for making paper-cutting are simple, just need papers and scissors, but it is recommended to buy a knife and a rigid plate, so that the details will be easier to deal with.

 

鉴赏与心得(Appreciation)

鉴赏方面，我的作品首先有平面铺开的春字窗花，春的寓意象征着新的开始与希望，是严冬之后的一丝暖意。从艺术上来说，作品的春字体圆润，且外有爱心作为框架的搭配，四面散开之后的豪放感觉，与春天的美好寓意相符合。

其二，《鸟语花香》，是句成语，即象征着春天的美好，而燕子是迁徙的飞禽，会生活在温暖的地区。因此燕子也是春天来临的征兆，是美好的希望。

其三，《虎踏青》，虎的形象是力量、活力、勇敢的象征。中华文化中虎大多数凶猛，而这张虎图较之传统有所不同，在于其较为圆润的线条，造就一种可爱活泼的形象。而阴阳融合的刻法、月牙纹、锯齿纹、柳叶纹以及草丛那野生大自然的结合使得内部其细节之多，故也不失威武霸气之感。

心得方面，我认为剪纸艺术是中华艺术中较为独特的。

首先，在于其所表现的艺术基本在于追求美好的寓意。

相比之下，书法艺术可以将喜怒哀乐表现于其线条；萧表现了低头眯眼，沉稳含蓄的风格等等。

因此，在迎接即将来到的新年，吉祥寓意的剪纸是必不可少的装饰之一。

过程中我也尤以《虎踏青》骄傲，因为这是我一气呵成的作品。

In terms of appreciation, my works first have a flat window grille with the word "chun" (spring). The meaning of “chun” symbolises a new beginning and hope, and is a touch of warmth after the severe winter. From an artistic point of view, the “chun” fonts of the works are rounded fonts, and there is love as a frame collocation. The bold and unrestrained feeling after being scattered on all sides is consistent with the beautiful meaning of spring.

Second, "Niao Yu Hua Xiang" is an idiom that symbolises the beauty of spring and swallows are migratory birds that live in warm areas. Therefore, swallows are also a sign of spring and a good hope.

Third, "Tiger Outing", the image of the tiger is a symbol of strength, vitality and bravery. Most tigers in Chinese culture are fierce, but this tiger picture is different from the traditional one in that its rounder lines create a lovely and lively image. And the combination of yin and yang fusion carving, crescent pattern, zigzag pattern, willow pattern and the wild nature of the grass makes the interior details so much that it does not lose the sense of mighty domineering.

In terms of experience, I think the art of paper-cutting is more unique in Chinese art.

First of all, the art it expresses basically lies in the pursuit of beautiful allegories.

In contrast, the art of calligraphy can express joy, anger, sorrow, and joy in its lines; Xiao expresses his head and squinting, calm and reserved style, and so on.

Therefore, in welcoming the coming New Year, paper-cutting with auspicious meaning is one of the indispensable decorations.

In the process, I was especially proud of "Tiger Outing" because this is my work in one go.
